Description
Safely ride rear-facing longer! The Graco® Extend2Fit® Convertible Car Seat grows with your child from rear-facing harness (4-50 lb) to forward-facing harness (26.5-65 lb). It features a 4-position extension panel that provides up to 5” of extra rear-facing legroom, allowing your child to safely ride rear-facing longer. Children are safer riding rear-facing and should ride rear-facing as long as possible, until they reach the maximum rear-facing height or weight rating for their car seat. With Extend2Fit®, the adjustable extension panel and 50 lb rear-facing weight limit allow the seat to grow with your child in rear-facing mode, providing extended rear-facing use. The seat features the No-Rethread Simply Safe Adjust™ Harness System, which allows you to adjust the height of the headrest and harness in one motion, and InRight™ LATCH for a one-second LATCH attachment. Harnessing is made easier with fuss-free harness storage pockets that conveniently hold the harness out of the way while you get baby in and out of the car seat. No. This model is designed for rear-facing and forward-facing harness use only.

How do I clean the seat, harness, and buckle?
Machine wash the seat pad in cold water on a delicate cycle and drip dry. Clean the buckle in warm water only, with no soap or lubricants. Surface clean the harness with mild soap and a damp cloth. Clean metal and plastic parts with mild soap and cool water.
What are the seat’s dimensions and weight?
The seat measures approximately 19.5"" W x 23.5"" H x 21.5"" D and weighs about 19 lb.
What comfort and convenience features are included?
It includes two easy-to-clean cup holders and removable plush head and body inserts for added comfort. Fuss-free harness storage pockets help keep straps out of the way, and the Extend2Fit® panel provides extra rear-facing legroom.
Care & Maintenance
- CLEANING SEAT PAD: Machine wash pad & canopy in cold water with gentle soap on delicate cycle & drip dry. Do not use bleach.
- CLEANING BUCKLE: Place in a cup of warm water and gently agitate the buckle. Press red button several times while in the water. Do not submerge the buckle strap. Do not use soap, detergents or lubricants
- CLEANING HARNESS: Surface wash only with mild soap & damp cloth or wipes. Do not immerse harness straps or latch strap in water

Overall great buy!
We've been using this car seat for about a month and it's been great! Installation is pretty easy, the buckles and straps are easy to adjust after reading the manual, and there's plenty of removable padding for babies of all sizes! The buckle holders are sooo helpful. My little one also enjoys that the carseat sits higher up than his older one, so even rear facing he can see out the window now. My only complaint, if you can call it that, is that since it's so much taller than the infant carseat, we can only lean it back a lttle bit in the rear facing mode. We have a lincoln mkx and a subaru outback and neither has enough backseat legroom to put the carseat in it's max recline position. Maybe if my husband and I were shorter it would work.. anyway, our baby is 31 lbs and fits well without the padding. And this carseat has high safety ratings!

Good seat but a pain
I have had this seat since 2022, I pretty much love it except I have 3 issues: 1) when rear facing you can not recline the seat without unhooking because the recline lever is pushed against the seat, 2) in order to clean the cover you have to pretty much disassemble the whole seat and 3) don't expect for the front, where it says Extend2Fit, to go back to the way it looked before removing cover to wash. No matter what I do after my grandchild gets in it, the cover pops off the hard plastic. You can have it all tucked in and fastened correctly but it still happens. Also the small elastic loops loose their elasticity even after the first wash and this is because you need to extend them short loops so far to get back to destination. I wish I had known all of these things before purchase.
