Infant Car Seats and Convertible Car Seats are designed differently, so the position and fit of the harness straps may not look exactly the same between the two seat types. The harness straps are designed and tested to be safe in their intended positions. As your child grows, the fit of the harness and the way it rests on your child will naturally adjust to accommodate their growth and development. After the Infant Car Seat stage, there are no additional bases available to purchase. The base for this model is built in, so if you need to move it to another vehicle, you&amp;rsquo;ll simply uninstall it and then reinstall it in the new car.
