Recommended Use
Playard Bassinet: To help prevent falls, do not use this product when the infant begins to push up on hands and knees or weighs over 15 lb (6.5 kg), whichever comes first.

Obsessed!
I bought this a month ago for some upcoming travel with my three month old, and I am so glad I did! Perfect size, compact, and lightweight. Folds up so easily and is a great size for her. She sleeps peacefully and comfortably. She is safe and secure in the bassinet zip in part, and it’s very stable.

This product about a month ago and I am so happy with is very compact and doesn’t take up much space, making it easy to store when not in use. Perfect play pen

Household essential; baby LOVES the stars!
We love this playard! It’s the second we have in our home, and we appreciate how easy they are to set up, take down, and move around the space. Our little one is 4 months old now, and still loves the star mobile attachment. It was one of the very first things he could figure out how to interact with, and enjoyed many long sessions of “bopping” the stars. Now that his motor skills are more developed, the bopping has turned into a game for him to get them to swing up and over the bar. Endless wiggles and laughs doing that! We love that it’s also another space for him to safely sleep when he finally wears himself out. Also, personally, I love love love this dusty purple colour!

Hello does this need a mattress pad to go with the hard pad that comes with it for baby to sleep in? Would it be more comfortable as long as it is a safe sleep mattress? Is it suggested at all?

Thanks for your question! ! All of our playards come with a mattress which has been designed specifically for the playard. For the safety of your child, we do not recommend adding any aftermarket mattresses or soft buntings to playards. Unlike standard wooden cribs, playards sides are soft and an infant can suffocate in gaps that are created between an aftermarket mattress and the playard's fabric sides, or on soft bedding added to the playard. We side with AAP recommendations for creating a safe sleep environment; place the baby on his or her back on a firm sleep surface such as a crib or bassinet with a tight-fitting sheet, avoid the use of soft bedding, including crib bumpers, blankets, pillows and soft toys.
