This narrow all-in-one car seat grows with your child from rear-facing harness (5-40 lb) to forward-facing harness (22-65 lb) to highback booster (40-100 lb). At that point, children should ride in a belt-positioning booster seat. - CLEANING SEAT PAD: Machine wash pad in cold water with gentle soap on delicate cycle & drip dry. Do not use bleach
- CLEANING BUCKLE: Place in a cup of warm water and gently agitate the buckle. Press red button several times while in the water. Do not submerge the buckle strap. Do not use soap, detergents or lubricants

Disappointing!
I'm very disappointed about this seat. It looked promising and thought it would be the perfect seat with a small footprint. Unfortunately I had to return. The adjustable headrest is protruding more than ANY other seat we have owned, removing the additional padding didn't help (we have 6, going on 7 children, we've had MANY car seats). This is such a design flaw. It pushes baby's head forward significantly. I have seen this complaint about this seat many times in mom groups. Some who just dismiss the issue because the slim design is a selling point. I wish these moms would speak up more because Graco needs to change this. None of our other Graco seats have ever had this issue.

Was not secure
Unless I am missing something, I don't see how this car seat would be safe. My wife and I both read the instructions and watched a video online to confirm that we were installing correctly, but the seat was not secure in a rear facing configuration. The seatbelt was used in the middle seat, placed correctly and not twisted, locked and tightened while pressing down on the car seat (with all my weight trying to secure it). When we tested for movement per the instructions it was not entirely secure. When I tested it by pushing from the back of the car seat, the seat would push entirely forward until touching the seat back of the car. There was also nothing to hold it from moving side to side. The seatbelt would hold it from moving towards the front of the vehicle but would not secure it from moving side to side or towards the back of the car. We then tried the latch system but they just came out over the top of the seat next to the child's legs which also allowed for the seat to move too much.

Graco true 3 fit car seat
We got this for our grandson and he absolutely loves it and doesn't mind being in the car seat anymore. The one he had was big and cumbersome and didn't fit very well in our daughter's car. It is also very easy to put in the car. This is just a great product, it was also very reasonably priced.

I bought 2 of these car seats in February I like them alot... only thing I do not like about them is the piece between the legs I think is to short it causes the pieces that buckles into it to go into my children's legs ...

Returning to store!
I bought this to have a second car seat so we wouldn't have to move the car seat every time we drive our other vehicle. I picked the graco true3fit lx because of it's safety testing and excellent review rating. However, when the seat is installed rear facing, at the base it doesn't move and seems perfect but at the top it very easily moves left and right and forward. This is a safety failure for me, I would not trust this seat rear facing in an accident. Even in normal riding if my 21 month old gets energetic and decides to rock himself left and right I feel like the seat would fall over and he would be stuck sideways. I am a mom of 3 kids and take car seat safety very seriously so I do not believe this is an installer error. Another issue I had with the seat is that the headrest part pushes the head forward to a position that is uncomfortable for car rides and also looks like it would be unsafe if in an accident. Therefore, I won't use this seat forward facing. For these 2 reasons I will be returning it to the store. I still gave it 2 stars because I do like the narrow size and the rest of the car seat seems well padded and comfortable. The push button latch system makes it easy to install and remove from vehicle.

Seems High Quality But Engineering Issues?
When installing rear facing in 2013 BMW X5, no matter where placing seat (side or middle) or with seat belt or included strap, can't get the seat to secure. It can be moved from side to side pretty easily but more concerning is if you lift up on the back of the seat you can flip it all the way to where the Graco seat will roll straight into the back of the car seat. It seems that all the seat would be good for is front impact. If hit from the rear seems that it would be very unsafe for child.

So-so for rear facing
I have this seat for my daughter who is forward facing so it is incredibly easy to install with the belt lock off. However, when I tried to switch it up for my son, I could not for the life of me get a tight fit for rear facing with the belt. We aren’t able to use the latch as he is in the middle and over the weight limit for match but wow I was so surprised they didn’t put a kickoff for rear facing! Seemed silly to me. Other than that great for our narrow Mitsubishi Outlander and MUCH less of a monster than a diono or clek
