The Simply Safe Adjust™ Harness System and 10-position headrest lets you adjust the harness and headrest together with no rethreading. Recommended Use
Rear-Facing Harness: 4-40 lb, head must be at least 1" below handle;
Forward-Facing Harness: 26.5-65 lb, up to 49";

What are the four modes of the Graco 4Ever DLX 4-in-1 car seat?
It transitions from rear-facing harness (4–40 lb) to forward-facing harness (26.5–65 lb), to highback booster (40–100 lb, 43–57", at least 4 years old), and finally to backless booster (40–120 lb, 43–57", at least 4 years old). It’s designed to grow with your child from infant to big kid.
When should I switch from rear-facing to forward-facing?
Keep your child rear-facing as long as possible within the 4–40 lb limit. Once your child exceeds the rear-facing limits and is at least 26.5 lb, you may transition to forward-facing with the harness up to 65 lb or 49".
What are the booster mode requirements?
Highback booster mode is for children 40–100 lb and 43–57" tall, at least 4 years old. Backless booster mode is for children 40–120 lb and 43–57" tall, also at least 4 years old.
What are the rear-facing fit requirements?
Rear-facing harness use is for children 4–40 lb. Your child’s head must be at least 1" below the headrest adjuster handle.
Is the 4Ever DLX safe?
Yes. It is Graco ProtectPlus Engineered™ to help protect in frontal, side, rear, and rollover crashes. It meets or exceeds FMVSS 213 and includes additional side-impact testing and rear-impact tested based on European Rear-Impact Crash Pulse.
How do I install the seat?
Install using Graco’s InRight™ LATCH system for a one-second attachment with an audible click. You can also install using the vehicle seat belt with the integrated belt lock-off. Always refer to the instruction manual for full installation steps.
Is the cover machine-washable and easy to remove?
Yes. The RapidRemove™ cover removes in about 60 seconds without uninstalling the seat. Machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle and drip dry.
How do I clean the buckle and harness?
Place the buckle in a cup of warm water and press the red button several times. Do not use soap or lubricants. Surface clean the harness straps with mild soap and a damp cloth only. Do not submerge the straps.
How long can I use this car seat?
The 4Ever DLX offers up to 10 years of use. Stop using and dispose of the seat 10 years after the date of manufacture.
Care & Maintenance
- CLEANING SEAT PAD: Machine wash pad & canopy in cold water with gentle soap on delicate cycle & drip dry. Do not use bleach.
- CLEANING BUCKLE: Place in a cup of warm water and gently agitate the buckle. Press red button several times while in the water. Do not submerge the buckle strap. Do not use soap, detergents or lubricants
- CLEANING HARNESS: Surface wash only with mild soap & damp cloth or wipes. Do not immerse harness straps or latch strap in water. For full instructions see here

Secure and safe but cushions are a distant second
We had to get new seats for our car and the newer version of these is still very stable and secure for safety but I think they have gone down a notch or 2 in the cushions and how they secure to the seat.

Sturdy, convenient, comfy!
Nevermind the comfort and protection for our baby girl - the anchor clips are BEYOND convenient. I'd buy again just for these! We have an older Japanese car model with tiny hooks so the previous Graco car seat (which was quality) was a nightmare to remove.

So Happy With This Car Seat!

Wonderful car seat!
This car seat is nicer than I expected! I am so glad I purchased the reliable Graco brand! I love the detachable cup holders for when my grandbabies, need them for snacks. I love the extra padding that comes with it for the small weight babies. It fit my premie granddaughter wonderfully and now I expect it to grow with her through the years that she is riding in a car seat. It is such a stable seat, the structure is very solid. The harness is a five point harness and is adjustable according to the size of the baby. I love how it has an adjustable recline according to the seat and baby. It works as described and just makes this seat that much better. The installation was so easy that I was worried I missed something. I highly recommend this seat and my adult kids were impressed with the quality of this car seat. Thank you Graco for being dependable year after year. I used a lot of Graco products raising my children and am so happy their products are still reliable.

Safe, Comfortable, and Grows with my child
We've been using the Graco 4Ever® DLX 4-in-1 Car Seat for our daughter, and it's been an excellent purchase. Installation was straightforward, and once installed, it feels very secure. The padding is soft and comfortable, and our daughter seems happy and comfortable even during longer car rides.
One of the biggest reasons we chose this seat is that it grows with our child, so we won't need to buy multiple car seats as she gets older. The adjustable headrest and harness are easy to use, and the overall build quality feels durable and well-designed.

The most stable and secure carseat that my kids enjoy riding in. Easy install, tight but still comfortable harness that makes me feel like I chose the right seat.
