What are the four modes of the Graco 4Ever DLX 4-in-1 car seat?
It transitions from rear-facing harness (4–40 lb) to forward-facing harness (26.5–65 lb), to highback booster (40–100 lb, 43–57", at least 4 years old), and finally to backless booster (40–120 lb, 43–57", at least 4 years old). It’s designed to grow with your child from infant to big kid.
When should I switch from rear-facing to forward-facing?
Keep your child rear-facing as long as possible within the 4–40 lb limit. Once your child exceeds the rear-facing limits and is at least 26.5 lb, you may transition to forward-facing with the harness up to 65 lb or 49".
What are the booster mode requirements?
Highback booster mode is for children 40–100 lb and 43–57" tall, at least 4 years old. Backless booster mode is for children 40–120 lb and 43–57" tall, also at least 4 years old.
What are the rear-facing fit requirements?
Rear-facing harness use is for children 4–40 lb. Your child’s head must be at least 1" below the headrest adjuster handle.
Is the 4Ever DLX safe?
Yes. It is Graco ProtectPlus Engineered™ to help protect in frontal, side, rear, and rollover crashes. It meets or exceeds FMVSS 213 and includes additional side-impact testing and rear-impact tested based on European Rear-Impact Crash Pulse.
How do I install the seat?
Install using Graco’s InRight™ LATCH system for a one-second attachment with an audible click. You can also install using the vehicle seat belt with the integrated belt lock-off. Always refer to the instruction manual for full installation steps.
Is the cover machine-washable and easy to remove?
Yes. The RapidRemove™ cover removes in about 60 seconds without uninstalling the seat. Machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle and drip dry.
How do I clean the buckle and harness?
Place the buckle in a cup of warm water and press the red button several times. Do not use soap or lubricants. Surface clean the harness straps with mild soap and a damp cloth only. Do not submerge the straps.
How long can I use this car seat?
The 4Ever DLX offers up to 10 years of use. Stop using and dispose of the seat 10 years after the date of manufacture.
Care & Maintenance
- CLEANING SEAT PAD: Machine wash pad & canopy in cold water with gentle soap on delicate cycle & drip dry. Do not use bleach.
- CLEANING BUCKLE: Place in a cup of warm water and gently agitate the buckle. Press red button several times while in the water. Do not submerge the buckle strap. Do not use soap, detergents or lubricants

Glad we Picked this seat
After months of research we settled on this car seat and I’m glad we did. I feel like my baby is safe every time I buckle her in, the colors are cute, it’s easy to clean, and easy to install. Great 4 in 1 carseat. My daughter is 5 and still using it and she says its the most comfortable carseat out of the 3 shes used. Having two cup holders is very convenient and how easy it is to make it bigger and move from vehicle to vehicle.

Love this car seat
The Graco car seat is sturdy, safe, and comfortable, and I like how easy it is to adjust the straps as my baby grows and how simple it is to remove and wash the fabric. Installation was fairly straightforward and my baby seems comfortable in it. Its a reliable car seat that offers great safety and comfort despite a few practical drawbacks.

Best carseat ever
I purchased my first dlx 4-in-one carseat for for grandson 2 years ago, its perfect has inserts and cushioning head rest attachment for smaller children that can be removed as they grow. Purchased my second dlx 4-in-one last week for my granddaughter, these are by far the best carseats out there. The car seat comes with a balance meter attached for stability and correct easy installation. The harness increases the safety and is easy to use and comfortable.

Excellent Car Seat!
Our family loves this car seat! We had another Graco car seat for our son and it was amazing. This time, we went with one that will be used with our daughter until she’s old enough to sit in a seat on her own! I love the idea that I don’t have to buy a high back booster or a regular booster when the time comes, like we did with our son. We will be gifting this to our friend who is due in September! That’s how much we like it.

Unsafe-blocking airway
I bought this seat for my 5 month old hoping that it would be more comfortable for her than her infant car seat but after installing it and harnessing her in it properly (approved by Graco CPST as well) it was placing her in a dangerous chin to chest position and compromising her airway. I am a NICU nurse and immediately recognized this and removed her from the seat but an unsuspecting parent may not which is scary. When a seat is designed for small newborns and up I would not expect a safety concern with my older infant such as this. The only solution the Graco CPST team could come to was me returning the seat and purchasing something else so this is what I did. I have decided to go with another brand and hoping it is a safer decision.

Perfect fit for my Suburban
I love that these seats are able to be used for longer than a year. Being adjustable makes it easier for kids to be rear facing longer. The available colors help make it more personal for you as well as for your child if you have multiples in the same style seat. I am able to fit 3 of these seats comfortably in the middle row of a chevy Suburban.

I got these to allow more leg room for my rear-facing kids and to have the ability to grow with them.
-very easy to install and very secure.
-lots of leg room for rear facing kiddos.
-easy and multiple base adjustments allowing better comfort and ability to grow with for kids, and easier install ability (help to make seat level in vehicle.)
-level on side helps for safe installation
-height (back/head part) easily adjustable no need to rethread straps! (One of my favorite features)
-insert padding is are already in place and easiest removable
Note these are not slim fitting!! I have a toyota corrolla, 3 of these will not fit in the back row, I know this is important to some families.
I got the blue and pink seats. The website picture for the pink doesmt do justice way cuter in person.

Functional. Beautiful. Budget Friendly compared to thousand dollars worth of car seat. I initially had the Nuna Exec for my first child. My baby seemed even more comfortable on the Graco now that she is growing up.
There is ease of use with easy hookups of safety straps.

Overall its great!
Does all the things I need it to do in terms of securing my little one safely. However I do find its a bit bulky of a fit for smaller cars (I drive a crosstrek). So getting little one in and out feels a bit tight around the door, and I find the front seats need to be pushed closer to the dashboard than one might like. Also, the cup holders dont seem to snap into place, so if you have a curious child expect to find the cup holders removed often.

So glad we purchased!
I bought this a month ago, as my granddaughter was outgrowing her car seat. This is perfect for our needs! The strap tighten piece is so much longer than our old car seat, makes it so much easier to help her in and out! It’s so comfortable for her, she loves it. Hanging the head adjustment move the shoulder straps is amazingly simple to adjust. So glad we bought it!
