Recommended Use
Rear-Facing Harness: 4-40 lb, head must be at least 1" below handle;
Forward-Facing Harness: 26.5-65 lb, up to 49";

What are the four modes of the Graco 4Ever DLX 4-in-1 car seat?
It transitions from rear-facing harness (4–40 lb) to forward-facing harness (26.5–65 lb), to highback booster (40–100 lb, 43–57", at least 4 years old), and finally to backless booster (40–120 lb, 43–57", at least 4 years old). It’s designed to grow with your child from infant to big kid.
When should I switch from rear-facing to forward-facing?
Keep your child rear-facing as long as possible within the 4–40 lb limit. Once your child exceeds the rear-facing limits and is at least 26.5 lb, you may transition to forward-facing with the harness up to 65 lb or 49".
What are the booster mode requirements?
Highback booster mode is for children 40–100 lb and 43–57" tall, at least 4 years old. Backless booster mode is for children 40–120 lb and 43–57" tall, also at least 4 years old.
What are the rear-facing fit requirements?
Rear-facing harness use is for children 4–40 lb. Your child’s head must be at least 1" below the headrest adjuster handle.
Is the 4Ever DLX safe?
Yes. It is Graco ProtectPlus Engineered™ to help protect in frontal, side, rear, and rollover crashes. It meets or exceeds FMVSS 213 and includes additional side-impact testing and rear-impact tested based on European Rear-Impact Crash Pulse.
How do I install the seat?
Install using Graco’s InRight™ LATCH system for a one-second attachment with an audible click. You can also install using the vehicle seat belt with the integrated belt lock-off. Always refer to the instruction manual for full installation steps.
Is the cover machine-washable and easy to remove?
Yes. The RapidRemove™ cover removes in about 60 seconds without uninstalling the seat. Machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle and drip dry.
How do I clean the buckle and harness?
Place the buckle in a cup of warm water and press the red button several times. Do not use soap or lubricants. Surface clean the harness straps with mild soap and a damp cloth only. Do not submerge the straps.
How long can I use this car seat?
The 4Ever DLX offers up to 10 years of use. Stop using and dispose of the seat 10 years after the date of manufacture.
Care & Maintenance
- CLEANING SEAT PAD: Machine wash pad & canopy in cold water with gentle soap on delicate cycle & drip dry. Do not use bleach.
- CLEANING BUCKLE: Place in a cup of warm water and gently agitate the buckle. Press red button several times while in the water. Do not submerge the buckle strap. Do not use soap, detergents or lubricants
- CLEANING HARNESS: Surface wash only with mild soap & damp cloth or wipes. Do not immerse harness straps or latch strap in water. For full instructions see here

Probably a great car seat but not for us
I haven’t used this yet and kind of regret buying it. I’m a first time mom so I was trying to save money in the long run and buy a car seat that could be used for the longest amount of time but didn’t account for the fact that this one doesn’t come out and become a carrier to bring baby home from hospital or to carry around to appointments. It’s was so expensive so I don’t want to buy another for the hospital. It’s also super bulky, I should’ve measured it but it’s so tight in the backseat of my Toyota Corolla cross. I should’ve done more research, I’m sure this is a great car seat but not what I wanted

I wanted this seat because it looked like the roomiest. I was worried about if i needed a slim seat in my car but after checking the measurements this one is not as deep as those seats. And found we have more room in the front than we did with the newborn carry seat in its base

A must-have for every family!
We love this car seat so much that we actually have one in every vehicle in our household. It’s comfortable, practical, and I love that it grows with your child, so you don’t have to keep buying new car seats. We also managed to get ours at Walmart for a great price ($360 CAD), which made the purchase even better. Definitely worth the money and would highly recommend!

Infant Car Seats and Convertible Car Seats are designed differently, so the position and fit of the harness straps may not look exactly the same between the two seat types. The harness straps are designed and tested to be safe in their intended positions. As your child grows, the fit of the harness and the way it rests on your child will naturally adjust to accommodate their growth and development. Hello! After the Infant Car Seat stage, there are no additional bases available to purchase. The base for this model is built in, so if you need to move it to another vehicle, you&rsquo;ll simply uninstall it and then reinstall it in the new car. The push button releases the lower LATCH connectors from the vehicle seat. &ndash; The Graco Team
