Rated 2 out of 5 by from conversion kits i loved this crib at first. my child has maybe slept in this crib a handful of times and the paint has already chipped. i have been searching for months for the conversion kits and cannot seem to find any. i can't even find the rail that matches. i have emailed Graco Support asking what parts i needed to buy as well and instructions on converting the crib to a toddler bed and i have never gotten an email back. i'm very disappointed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Deceiving We bought this for our grandson thinking it would last him as he transitioned to a toddler bed, however there does not seem to be any conversion kits to a toddler bed. We thought originally when we bought it all of the necessary components would be included, but they were not. Then we figured we would buy a conversion kit. I have searched and there are no conversion kits for this 4 in 1 crib. Even your official website does not offer a conversion kit to purchase. This crib is very misleading from the way it is advertised! It should be labeled crib only since it doesn’t convert to a toddler bed. How are we supposed to convert it? Very dissatisfied with this purchase. I can only recommend this as a crib, not a convertible bed.

I can’t find the rail anywhere. What a joke. The only reason I had purchased this was to be able to covert it down the line.

I cannot find the conversion kit anywhere and as described in previous reviews, the stretcher bar is not separate. I tried putting in the model number for replacement parts, but it keeps telling me it’s an invalid model number.

This was advertised as a 4-in-1 product!! How misleading and sneaky. If i had known it doesn't convert to a toddler bed and can only be used as a crib, I would not have purchased this.

I bought the toddler rail- which 2 years later I realize was actually not the correct one and the right one is nowhere to be found. I should have purchased the bed conversation kit too, because now I can’t find that piece ANYWHERE. So much for 4 in 1. Very frustrating.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Misleading We purchased 2 of these for our twins. They worked well as cribs but calling them 4 in 1 beds is ridiculous. If you want to turn them into toddler beds, there's no way to accommodate a toddler rail- you just take off the front of the crib leaving it totally open. And to turn it into a twin bed, you need to buy a bed frame...so essentially it's just a headboard at that stage. I see why the price was low on this. They should market it as what it is, a crib with a slight amount of extra potential, certainly not anything more.

This is not a 4-in-1 product as described, just a plain crib that Graco misleads as a convertible bed. I wanted this crib for our second baby but I will not be buying from this misleading company again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Misled Purchased approximately 2 years ago and now that we are considering converting the crib into a toddler bed I realize that piece will need to be purchased separately. I don't see how this can be considered a 4-in-1 convertible crib if all it is is a crib. After investigating it seems that any conversion will require us to purchase an additional part. So where I thought I was being smart with my purchase in getting a piece of furniture that will save my family money and grow with my child I feel I was taken advantage of.

We have loved this as a crib but now that my son is moving up to a toddler bed, I can't find the parts I need to convert it to a toddler bed. nothing is compatible with the stand-alone Benton. And if the rails are actually $50 each and you need two? Might as well just buy a new crib. Very disappointed and frustrated with this purchase. Graco, please fix this!

It’s not 4 in 1 if you have to buy more things to convert it with? And where do I even find the ‘conversion kit’ very sneaky from Graco, you buy this wonderful crib for your newborn baby under the pretence it’s going to last a good while but once your baby grows bigger? No chance!

Now that it’s time to transition my son to a toddler bed it is impossible to do so with this crib! I cannot find the toddler rail for sale anywhere. The purpose of putting this product on my registry was because it is 4 in one. Disappointment in the long run.

It was great for him as a infant but now now he is a toddler and there is no way to convert it into a toddlers bed. I’ve searched around for the toddler rail and no luck, if I would have known this was going to be the case I wouldn’t have bought it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It's really a 1.in 1 Loved this crib till I needed to change it to a toddler bed. I was really disappointed when it didn't come with the pieces to convert it. Now I need to find the pieces and they were practically impossible to find. When I did fine them they are 159.00 a piece and you need two. I can find a brand new toddler bed for the cost of the rail for this one. This makes absolutely no sense. I have the whole set dressers and changing table. I feel really mislead. It's says all you need and that is a lie.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great crib for under 2! We love our Graco convertible bed perfect color, very durable and easy to assemble. However, we now want to convert it to a toddler bed and there is no guard rail?? I thought we got a great deal on this crib but now I have to buy guard rails at $108 a piece for a crib that I thought was convertible to a toddler bed. It feels like it’s a little bit of false advertising since guard rails are recommended for toddlers so I just assumed all the pieces came to this convertible crib.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Buyer Beware! Like many other reviewers, I too feel misled. Had no problems until I needed to change the crib into a toddler bed. The toddler convertible does not include the front support rail as shown in their product images (lower bar with Graco logo on left corner). Conversion is not included and haven’t found it available for purchase anywhere. The model number/date does not work with the numbers on my crib. Unless you’re ok having your precious little one sleeping on a toddler bed with an exposed steel frame and a less than sturdy frame support (with a non-existent front bar), best stay away from this “1-in-1” crib!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Only Imagination and More Money Make This a 4-in1! The Benton was a decent crib but as others have mentioned, it doesn't convert to a toddler bed. Since we've purchased it, new wording has been applied to the description that it converts to a day bed. But as any parent knows, you'll need a rail as children get adjusted to the new setup. Not only does it not come with a rail, you cannot purchase one. It doesn't exist for this model. Additionally, because of the spring frame sinking lower than the crossbar on the outer frame of the bed, you cannot adequately or safety connect any other bedrail made for this purpose. We eventually got a toddler bed rail knowing it wasn't going to attach to the bed and would also damage the frame in the process -- which hurts any resale value, of course. Now, as I feel like I've settled on being in this for the long haul, I came back to find out how to turn the frame into a full-bed headboard, etc. Nope! There is apparently some kit I need to buy. Well, not gonna happen. I'm letting this mess go.

So this has been great as a crib, but now it’s time for us to convert it to a toddler bed and am super disappointed as to what this entails. The assembly instructions just say to remove the front panel, but there’s no lower bar as pictured and I am super not comfortable with those exposed support beams, especially with active kids. I came to the websites to look for a conversion kit but am finding nothing. I’m giving it mid marks because it was nice as a crib.
