Rated 1 out of 5 by from VERY UNSAFE! Same issue as others have pointed out: randomly on its own starts swinging faster and faster while red light is blinking. Can't figure out why, extremely unsafe!!! They should recall this product!!!!!

I purchased this product from Amazon 4 months ago and over the weekend the red light started to flash and the swing started swinging itself SUPER fast all on it's own. It did it twice and I contacted Graco and filed a warranty claim. I just got the new part today and put it back together and I didn't even have my daughter in it for 10 minutes ammartineznd it started to do the same thing. DO NOT BUY THIS SWING. It is a huge safety hazard. Had my child not been buckled in she would have been launched out of it!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not safe !!! I received this as a baby shower gift and i am not happy i had it for one month until i noticed the light blinking and turned to full speed and stopped working. Very unsafe for a newborn child i do not recommend it at all.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy this Swing lasted one month before the light started to flash and throw my baby around at full speed no matter where the dial was. Even on the lowest setting. Very disappointed. Will be buying a different brand from now on.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality from a trusted brand Our daughter used the swing for about a week before the light started to blink and the slow speed became waaaay too fast. I have tried new batteries and even waited several weeks until she weighed a bit more to see if the added 3 lbs might make a difference. Sadly this swing is completely beyond use. My parents have a Graco 2 speed swing from 1996 that still runs like a champ after my baby sister and now 3 nieces and nephews have used it. I am so sad to see that these new models do not live up to the name. I thought I knew this brand and their quality. Sadly, the old adage 'they don't make them like they used to' is proving true once more.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Potential Hazard Received this as a gift and hardly used it before noticing the speed function was way too fast for my son. Even at the lowest setting. This is definitely a hazard, especially newborns as they could easily fall out.

I truly do love this swing for the most part, my daughter really enjoys it, however, when the batteries are dying, the light will blink and the swing will whip back and forth faster than even the highest setting. My daughter was in the swing while I was reading and all of a sudden its swinging itself as if someone was pushing it with all their force. It could have flipped over or she could have fell out. Why not make it slow down when the batteries are dying? This would be a lot safer. Replaced the batteries and it is back to normal until they start dying and this swing goes berserk again.
