Rated 5 out of 5 by from Life saver! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Graco walk-thru safety gate has been a real lifesaver. I use it at the bottom of the stairs so that the baby cannot attempt to go up the stairs and hurt himself. Because it is so easy to install, I can move the gate and use it to keep my dog in the kitchen when I have guests over. I have had other baby gates before, but they were either permanently installed or a general pain to use. They would scuff up my walls. The Graco gate does not leave a mark and the walk-thru ability makes it easier to let it stay put for longer periods of time. I can get into my kitchen without having to step over or remove it, which is a welcome change.

It’s very easy to install with either screws and/or pressure mounts into a door frame or walls. It’s very sturdy and strong for both babies and pets. I love how simple it is to just lift the top latch to walk through it, the days of having to step over a baby gate are over! The latch is baby proof. The color is a very crisp clean white and smooth. I feel very safe using this for my chihuahua and my daughter, neither one of them can fit their head in between the bars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you think all baby gates/pet gates are created equal you are defiantly mistaken! We have tried so many just to be let down because they either break or aren't easy to use, but not this Graco babysteps walk through gate. It is stylish and easy to use, latches tight and secure, but easy to operate. It also stays put... No sliding! We use outs at the bottom of our steps to keep the dogs from going upstairs and to keep our 18 month old granddaughter from crawling up the stairs. Sometimes our big dog will jump up and put his front paws on the gate and the gate does not budge!!! I love this one and plan on adding two more to my home so if you are on the fence I say buy it and give it a try you won't be disappointed.

It is easy to install and I especially like that you don't have to drill to install it and comes with all the pieces you need to install in a door frame or even between walls. Door is easy enough to open with one hand for adults but secure enough that the kids can't get it open. Door swings both ways which is another great feature. Bottom line it is a high quality sturdy and secure gate.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not for use on top of the stairs We couldn’t use the gate as in instruction manual it said not to install the gate on top of the stairs which is where we need it. I didn’t find this information upon ordering and I think it’s important as not all parents know which gates are meant for top and which are for bottom of stairs. Thankfully, customer service was quick to initiate a return. Still waiting for refund but at least I have peace I could return it because I bought it through their website and not third party site.
