Difficult installation, awkward mechanism
This baby gate is difficult to install and does not seem to sit true and flush with both extensions in use. The tension needs to be so high for it to operate correctly that it actually damaged my stair bannister. I am not happy with this purchase and will look for something else.

Graco baby or puppy gate.
It’s sturdy, the gate swings in and out, it’s taller than most gates, and the opening and closing of the gate is smooth and reliable, plus it closes automatically. .

Customer support is nonresponsive.
Its a nice gate. But the unit came defective where the top locking mechanism doesnt work. I contacted customer support weeks ago without a reply.
One other thing is if your walls have moulding on the bottom, the gate may be awkwardly between sizes where it needs an extension on top but not enough room at the bottom.

Not for use on top of the stairs
We couldn’t use the gate as in instruction manual it said not to install the gate on top of the stairs which is where we need it. I didn’t find this information upon ordering and I think it’s important as not all parents know which gates are meant for top and which are for bottom of stairs. Thankfully, customer service was quick to initiate a return. Still waiting for refund but at least I have peace I could return it because I bought it through their website and not third party site.

Received the product, missing parts. Reached out to Graco, Graco redirected to the manufacturer, manufacturer doesn't care to resolve the issue despite multiple calls and emails.
