It transitions from rear-facing harness (5-40 lb), to forward-facing harness (22-65 lb), to highback booster (40-100 lb), to backless booster (40-120 lb). Recommended Use
Rear-Facing Harness: 5-40 lb, head must be at least 1" below handle;
Forward-Facing Harness: 22-65 lb, up to 49";
Highback Booster: 40-100 lb, 43-57", at least 4 years old;

Children are safer riding rear-facing and should ride rear-facing as long as possible, until they reach the maximum rear-facing height or weight rating for their car seat. Then children should ride forward-facing, using the built-in harness system for as long as possible until they reach the maximum forward-facing weight or height for their car seat. At that point, children should ride in a belt-positioning booster seat. A booster is no longer needed once the vehicle seat belt fits properly, typically when they reach 4 feet 9 inches tall and are between ages 8-12. Be sure to check your local and state laws, as well as AAP and NHTSA recommendations, for car seat usage.*

Care & Maintenance
- CLEANING SEAT PAD: Machine wash pad & canopy in cold water with gentle soap on delicate cycle & drip dry. Do not use bleach
- CLEANING BUCKLE: Place in a cup of warm water and gently agitate the buckle. Press red button several times while in the water. Do not submerge the buckle strap. Do not use soap, detergents or lubricants
- CLEANING HARNESS: Surface wash only with mild soap & damp cloth or wipes. Do not immerse harness straps or latch strap in water. For full instructions see here

Safety Comes First and this Car Seat is Safe
Safety is of the utmost importance and my son feels secure and safe in this car seat. The fact that this car seat will continue to be used as he grows into a booster is great, and I love that it has steel reinforced framing.

Good for toddler not newborn
I like this seat have this seat for my two year old since she was about 3-4 months. So i bought this seat for my second baby. It does not fit new norms well. And he is 8 pounds 2 oz 20 inches. So not a small baby. He stays chin to chest and it’s not a good fit.

Gracos is five stars
Graco is the best car seat period. Always my daughter's safety first. Also, it's very comfortable for long road trips and versatile with very important details like the cup holder and very cushion for her comfort when she is sleeping. Another thing is that it's very easy to install. We have had it for more than 4 years.

I just wanted to say thank you so much to the Graco brand and to the people who made it what it is today! My son and his mother were involved in a terrible snow accident that caused the car to roll over 3 times with my son in the backseat, the car was severely crushed, my sons mother sustained non fatal injuries, but my son was left totally uninjured and still strapped to his car seat. It was a miracle that they survived with no life threatening injuries, I couldn’t thank this brand and the people that made it enough, you saved my child’s life!! I will forever recommend this brand and due to the fact the car seat being involved in the accident is of no use anymore, I’ll be buying another graco car seat for my son.
