The Graco® Extend2Fit® 3-in-1 Car Seat offers 3 modes of use to grow with your child from rear-facing harness (4-50 lb) to forward-facing harness (22-65 lb) to highback booster (40-100 lb)**. - CLEANING SEAT PAD: Machine wash pad & canopy in cold water with gentle soap on delicate cycle & drip dry. Do not use bleach
- CLEANING BUCKLE: Place in a cup of warm water and gently agitate the buckle. Press red button several times while in the water. Do not submerge the buckle strap. Do not use soap, detergents or lubricants

All-in-all a good purchase.
I bought this for a few reasons - #1 being that independent crash testing rated it highly for impact protection. My other reasons were that it's pretty upright which is nice in my Prius - We had to jack the front passenger seat way forward with my baby's infant seat. One downside to this is that when he falls asleep, he slumps forward, so I might be setting it to recline for awhile anyway because that's not a safe sleeping position. I think partially it's because the head cushion positions his head a little more forward than you'd think is necessary. All-in-all a good purchase.

Love the rear facing feature, that is all :(
LOVE LOVE that this seat can extend leg room for my kiddo but HATE just about everything else about it.
My daugter is 3.5 and I have been through 2 of these already. The foam has cracked in multiple pieces both times having this seat for less than a year. Yet you can't replace the foam and GRACO won't do anything but tell me to get the $450 4EVER Seat.
THIS WILL BE MY LAST GRACO PURCHASE EVEr.

Take the negative reviews with a grain of salt!
This car seat is so great, I purchased a second one for our second vehicle. I think a lot of the complaints about this seat actually stem from user error, because when it is set up properly, it’s a breeze to use. It fits well in every car I have installed it in (from a Subaru Outback to a Ram 2500) and is easy to latch in and adjust. Getting my toddler in and out is a fairly painless endeavor, and the strap adjustments are quick and easy. All of the seat adjustments (recline, headrest, non-rethreading harness, and extending foot panel) allow you to create a custom fit for your child and vehicle. The seat is sturdy and solid while being well padded and comfortable. The entire cover is removable and machine washable, so it is easy to keep the seat clean. It’s pretty simple to get all the soft materials back on the seat (I’ve had others that required a degree in engineering to reassemble!) so it’s not a terrible chore to put it all back together. I do recommend taking care with the hook and eye closures, as they are a little bit delicate. So far I have had no issues washing the cover in the machine on the delicate cycle, and it dries pretty quickly even though it has to be line dried. I’ve also seen some complaints about the square cupholders, but I assure you that plenty of cups and bottles fit in them, and they are actually more secure and less likely to become projectile hazards while driving because of the shape. Changing from rear facing to forward facing was much easier than I thought it would be, and it’s also easy to go back to rear facing if you need to. I believe the car seat is very well made, and will last for as many years as my child will need to use it.

Fits in a Ram 1500 Quad Cab
I was on the hunt to find a car seat to fit in my husband's Ram 1500 Quad Cab rear facing. Thank goodness for the Extend2Fit. It fits perfectly in the back seat. My only complaint with this seat is that it was difficult for me to remove the cushion to access the belt path for installation. Other than that, my child loves this seat.

We Love It
We love this car seat! It’s our second purchase of this particular version and we are just as happy as with the first one. Love this for my tall kiddos
This is the second time I’ve purchased this car seat, and would recommend it over and over again! My husband and I are both tall so I guessed my kids were going to be as well, and I was right. The reason this car seat is amazing? It has an ~almost~ 10 inches extra for the rear facing height limit compared to most ‘standard’ car seats! My daughter will be 3 next week and is still rear facing comfortably without having her legs crammed into her chest. Not to mention it’s super easy to install and clean when stains happen. 10/10 would recommend!

I am on my third of the same model to try and solve an obnoxious rattle in the headrest - driving me crazy. Easy to install, comfortable fabric, and great safety ratings - but the rattle is enough to make me go with a new brand if I can't find a fix for it.

Great car seat
I love my new car seat. I also felt super excited because I got it on sale, and I love a good deal. The seat is relatively easy to install. People say it’s super safe, and it seems like it is. I like that. It’s really easy to adjust the height of the headpiece. One negative (coming from an infant carrier seat) is that the sun gets in my daughter’s eyes and there is no shade on this seat.

Nice Seat- Poor packing
Very nice car seat- purchased because my daughter has 2 and I wanted one to transport grandchildren.
Came in a box showing what it was- so no surprise - would recommend that box does not reveal what is inside.
Box was damaged- had it been placed in another box for shipping this would have been avoided.

Faulty harnesses strap system
We are potty training, our three-year-old who had an accident in the car seat, and it is impossible to reinstall the harness straps, which appears to only go through a teeny slit with two flabby pieces of fabric to secure it? The bottom of the harness strap that attaches to the seat this does not feel safe and secure but the buckle attachment has a metal piece to secure it why would it not be the same for the harness strap system is just fabric. This doesn’t seem right or safe. There is nothing available online from Graco, or in the owners manual on how to secure the bottom of the harness strap to the seat this does not feel safe or secure. This doesn’t seem right.

Frayed Harness Straps
The harness straps on this car seat have started to fray and are not replaceable. Because we have used it for over a year, the warranty is no longer applicable. The only other option at this point is to replace the car seat. Super bummed! Pretty unfortunate for a car seat that is so spendy.

Cup Holders......SQUARE shaped instead of ROUND

Front facing harness VERY hard to tighten
We have two of these car seats. We did not have issues when it was rear-facing, but now that it's front facing, we can't tighten the harness properly. The pull strap to tighten just will not budge tight enough to be safe. My daughter fits well within the size recommendations. This seems to be a common issue from what I've read from other buyers. Very disappointing a d frustrating.

Great carseat
This carseat has been great for us. Easy to install once you get the hang of it & my son has never complained about it not being comfortable. Only negative thing I would have to say is if you need a locking key you have to contact customer service and pay for one. I would have thought for a carseat close to $300 it would have came with it. But other then that it's a great carseat & customer service is great.

Love this seat!
I bought this car seat after an accident and I LOVE the ease of installation. My niece LOVES the seat so much more compared to the one I had for her previously. She is small for her age, but LONG, so the ability to extend the leg room is great for when she wears shoes that don’t allow her to bend her legs (she has some “riding” boots that come close to her knees).

Square cupholders?!?
The seat it's self is sturdy and supportive, the cushions are amazing and I'm jealous I can't have a seat like that for myself. The extend to fit really gives her legs more space which is nice, and as awkward as they seemed at first; the square cupholders really do hold all of her sippy cups so far.
