Description
Children are safer riding rear-facing and should ride rear-facing until they reach the maximum rear-facing height or weight rating for their seat. Graco® Extend2Fit® 3-in-1 Car Seat featuring TrueShield Technology features a 4-position extension panel that provides 5” of extra legroom allowing your child to ride safely rear-facing longer. The seat can be used as a rear-facing car seat (4-50 lb), then a forward-facing 5-point harness seat (22-65 lb) and lastly a highback belt-positioning booster (40-100 lb). TrueShield Technology provides advanced side impact protection to protect your baby from head to hips in the event of a side impact. The seat features the Simply Safe™ Adjust Harness System which allows you to adjust the headrest and harness together as your child grows, InRight™ LATCH for a one-second LATCH attachment and Fuss Free harness storage which holds the buckle out of the way, so it’s easy to get baby in and out.

- CLEANING SEAT PAD: Machine wash pad & canopy in cold water with gentle soap on delicate cycle & drip dry. Do not use bleach
- CLEANING BUCKLE: Place in a cup of warm water and gently agitate the buckle. Press red button several times while in the water. Do not submerge the buckle strap. Do not use soap, detergents or lubricants
- CLEANING HARNESS: Surface wash only with mild soap & damp cloth or wipes. Do not immerse harness straps or latch strap in water. For full instructions see here

My son loves it
My son HATED his infant car seat, it wasn’t comfortable for him at all. But he loves this one! The padding in it almost feels like memory foam. He falls asleep in the car so quick in this car seat. Love it

Horrible harness
Very difficult to tighten and loosen the harness. I’ve used several other convertible car seats in the past and have never had this issue. I have hours of professional car seat training under my belt and know how to properly install and buckle a car seat. The installation was a hassle but that’s a one time issue. The fact that tightening and loosening the straps takes all of my force every time is a huge deal breaker. Customer service was not as helpful as I would have liked as they requested model numbers and receipts from each of the 5 car seats I purchased before they would help me further. Those car seats are all installed in different cars among 4 different homes, so that’s not exactly easy to obtain. So much money wasted. Now we’re stuck with these seats that I don’t feel are safe because it’s so difficult to tighten the harness.

We love the extender!
We bought this for our 1.5 year old as we want to be able to do rear-facing for as long as possible...within a few months we already needed to use the extender, since his legs have gotten so long. I wish all carseats had the extender. Also Graco customer service replaced our cupholder when it was lost by the airline, no paperwork needed. Easy to clean (although a bit of a learning curve to take off all of the padding. Only thing I wish could be improved is that our sweaty now-2-year-old doesn't get much airflow through the seat, and is constantly sweaty when we get out of the car, no matter the AC temp.

I had quite the internal debate about what seat to buy. Countless hours of research and reading reviews. I went with the extend2fit line based on reviews from a baby gear website, based on their crash tests results. This model fit our price range and will convert into a booster. Staying rear facing for longer was important too. The seat is high quality, comfortable, and easy to use and install.

Comfortable, safe, and easy to use!
We bought this a few months ago when my son was 6 months old because he had outgrown his infant seat. He’s very tall and this seat provides him all the extra room he needs to grow! The seat is incredibly comfortable with lots of padding and the harness is very easy to use (grandparent approved). It is simple to transfer from vehicle to vehicle whether you are using the latch system or seat belt. I think the best feature has to be the cup holders, my son could entertain himself for hours with them and even insists on taking them along with him whenever we get out of the car! (: Hands down the best car seat we have purchased. I highly recommend to anyone who wants that extra peace of mind when it comes to safety!

Amazing car seat with amazing safety features. My almost four year old is still rear facing. We will be turning him shortly, but how awesome is that! He’s not a tiny little guy either and he has tons of leg room. I can’t imagine not having an extended to fit.

A MUST If you have a small car...
I bought this for my baby and since day one WE loved it!! The size is perfect for a sedan car. Very comfortable for my baby, he really enjoy it! . It’s perfect for having two car seats at the same time and we still have plenty of space on the back seats!

Perfect fit
I bought this after doing a lot of research on different convertible car seats. This one seemed to fit my needs. I needed one for my son who is very tall for his age and would be comfortable as well as feel safe. It’s also easy to wipe clean which is an added great feature.

Easy to install and comfy!
We bought this for my first daughter and absolutely loved it. We even bought a second for our second vehicle. It's the easiest seat we have to install, our girl loves it, it's compact front to back. It's an all around great seat and the weight and height limits make it a great investment since the AAP recommends to rear face as long as possible.

Overall pretty great.
I bought two of these one three years ago and the other two years ago for my now almost 4yr old & 3yr old. I love that you just pull the handle on top to adjust everything including the 5point harness. I like the extended to fit feature I’m able to keep to keep them rear facing longer which keeps them safer. I don’t like that there isn’t a specific height to tell you they are to to tall just a generic statement that says one inch below handle. I love that it turns from rear to forward facing and then to a booster seat the weight ranges from 5 to 100. I don’t like how wide they are if you have a car (like myself) you wouldn’t be able to get three car seats across not even an infant car seat and two of these (the combo I have). Even in an SUV they are pretty packed in barely fitting you would not be able to fit three across. Besides the width everything else is overall pretty great.

Great Carseat for Tall Girl. Father Approved!
The Graco Extend2Fit car seat works just fine in our vehicle (Ford Edge). Our daughter enjoys not being so close to the back seat as she's just a little tall for her age at 15 months. The seat feels solid and well built and the TrueShield adds just a little extra protection around her head. The quick disconnects make it east to remove the seat and move it to another vehicle. Just remember to adjust the straps in the other vehicle as they may vary. Graco is a trustworthy brand and I would not consider any others to protect my child.
