Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great carseat I purchased my son this car seat about 6 months ago. We were having a problem with the myride car seat being too large for my vehicle. His seat has to be in the third row, because we also have twin girls! So once he was in his car seat he would have no leg room! The seat was less than an inch from touching the seat in front of it! Once we installed the nautilus, he giggled and clapped and said, "momma I just love it!" He now has more than enough leg room in the car! And we love the storage pockets on the sides! It's great for toys and snacks, and of course the cup holder gets 100 thumbs up from us! We actually just bought another nautilus for daddy's truck too! It's the only car seat he will get in and not throw a fit, he loves his nautilus! Great job Graco!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Structurally Sound I bought this car seat for my 15 months old daughter. Once I anchored it to the car using the two side clips and the top centered clip, the seat felt very solid in place. The car seat belt was easy to insert through the designated area marked on the side of the car seat. All in all, my daughter sits in it secured and the seat does not even move because of the solid anchoring features. The cushions on the sides are very nice, and the seat overall is nicely padded. One potential improvement to the seat's bottom center buckle adjustment. The third slot (for older toddlers) is very hard to thread through.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Car Seat We bought a (Graco) car set that we could use for up to 2 years. Our child stayed in that car seat until 2 and then we bought this seat. In fact, we bought two of these car seats. It was easy to install, and I liked the ability to use the seat-belt or the metal hooks. The recline was minimal but a nice feature to have when first moving him to this seat. We have a Pathfinder & Altima and placed the seat behind the driver's seat. There is plenty of space for our child and us and haven't had to worry about him kicking the seat. The fabric was soft and I love the extra covers on the buckle and belts. I have only used this for a few months and have nothing but nice things to say about it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great seat for kids over the age of 2 I purchased this seat to replace an older version of the Nautilus due to a car accident. I like the height adjustment feature now. I am disappointed that Graco changed the height limits from a previous 52" for harness to 49" max now. Other than that, this is a great seat for kids that are OVER 2 years old. Children under 2 still need to be rear facing for the best protection. It would be nice if this was stated along with the weight and height requirements. I am a CPST (car seat tech).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Seat After researching and looking in many stores for the perfect upgrade carseat for our 2 and half year old, we decided on this one and love it! It fits well in our relatively-small Ford car and is able to fit with our infant car seat right next to it. A little snug, but it works. We like the way this seat is able to extend to different sizes. Every convertible infant car seat we had looked at did not have enough room in the crotch area for our toddler on the biggest setting, and our toddler is petite. This seat has plenty of room for growth. Th cup holder and little cubbies are a nice feature as well. Adjusting the height and installing was not very difficult. I am a fan of Graco, and especially of this one!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from lack of information Last week my wife and myself bought this car seat for our granddaughter. She is 15 months old and my son and daughter-in-law want her to be rear facing no were on the package did it say it was front seat only .Safety regulations state a child should be 2 years of age before facing the front. It is a great product unfortunately we now have to go buy another seat. We will keep this one but what a waste of our money because of no back facing positioning. Thank you for your time

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Car Seat, Confusing Configuration My daughter is 4 years old (3'5", 136 lbs), and I bought this car seat because I really wanted a harness booster that could convert into a backless booster. I've researched and read that keeping your child in a harness while forward facing for as long as possible (and while still appropriate for their height and weight) is safest. I went into the store with my 4 year old so she could sit in the different seats. This car seat stood out because of the added Safety Surround Protection. While having the extra padding, it did not seem overly bulky. After getting the car seat home, assembly was pretty basic. Then came putting my daughter in and adjusting the buckle and harness to her height. I was SO confused as to why the seat had all of the harness height slots blocked off except for the top one. Additionally, the seat covers only had two slots at the very top instead of the usual eight slots for four different height adjustments. It made no sense to me. I read the directions over and over. I looked up videos on how to adjust the harness height (all of which had multiple slots where you had to rethread the straps). Finally, after reading many reviews, I came across someone else who said that the harness height adjustment was confusing and that it was adjusted with the HEADREST. For anyone else out there, THE HARNESS HEIGHT IS ADJUSTED BY THE HEADREST. I wish Graco would have made that more clear, instead of just one sentence in the entire manual. This was probably very difficult for me to comprehend because I am used to the harness being a bit more difficult to adjust. While it took me forever to figure out, I'm happy the car seat has this configuration. It is much simpler than having to pull the straps out and rethread them. Final opinion: I love the car seat and feel it will be very safe for my daughter.
