    • HOW TO TIGHTEN/LOOSEN HARNESS STRAPS? Please reference the Car Seat Manual for instructions [insert link here once available]
    • IS THIS SEAT A CONVERTIBLE? No, the Graco® Nautilus® 2.0 LX is a 3-in-1 Harness Booster car seat that grows with your child from toddler to big kid, as a forward-facing harness (22-65 lb), highback booster (40-100 lb), and backless booster (40-120 lb).
    • WHEN SHOULD I TRANSITION MY CHILD FROM A HARNESS TO A SEAT BELT? When forward-facing, children should use the built-in harness system for as long as possible until they reach the maximum forward-facing weight or height for their car seat. At that point, children should ride in a belt-positioning booster seat. A booster is no longer needed once the vehicle seat belt fits properly, typically when they reach 4 feet 9 inches tall and are between ages 8-12. • HOW DO I LOOSEN UP THE LATCH TO REMOVE FROM THE CAR? If using an InRight LATCH, press on the grey button and pull on the strap to extend the length. Then press the red button to pull out from the lower anchors of the vehicle. If using a Hook LATCH, press on the grey button and pull on the strap to extend the length. Then press the clip to remove the hook from the lower anchors of the vehicle.
    • HOW DO YOU ATTACH THE BACK OF A HIGHBACK BOOSTER TO THE BASE? Please reference the Car Seat Manual for instructions.
    • CAN I INSTALL USING LATCH IN THE MIDDLE SEAT IF THE LATCH ANCHORS ARE ON THE OUTBOARD SEATS? Review your vehicle's owner manual for exact location and use of lower anchors and top tether. LATCH can only be used if the vehicle LATCH anchor spacing is 11 inches (28 cm) from the center of one LATCH anchor to the center of the other LATCH anchor. If the spacing is greater than 11 inches, it can only be used if all three of the following are met: 1) The vehicle manual and car seat manual both allow it. 2) Connection to the lower anchors does not interfere with the vehicle belts of other passengers. 3) You are able to achieve a secure installation that does not move more than 1 inch side-to-side or front-to-back.
    • HOW DO I KNOW IF MY SEAT IS INSTALLED CORRECTLY? Before beginning the installation, review your car seat manual and vehicle manual for specific information about your car seat model and vehicle type. Go through the checklist below to help confirm you have a secure installation: 1) Test for Tightness: Grab the sides of the car seat at the belt path and move side-to-side and front-to-back. The car seat should not move more than an inch in any direction. If it does move more than an inch, repeat the installation and refer to your car seat manual. 2) Check the Harness Height: When using the 5-point harness forward-facing, the harness should be AT or ABOVE the child's shoulders. Raise or lower the harness as needed. 3) Secure the Chest Clip: The chest clip should be at the level of the child's armpits. Raise or lower as needed. 4) Do the pinch test: Pinch the harness webbing at the child's shoulders. If you can pinch any excess webbing, the harness is too loose. Use the front adjuster strap to tighten until you cannot pinch any excess webbing. If you have all checked all of the above, you have a secure installation!
    • WHAT IS A HIGHBACK BOOSTER? There are many different types of car seats out there and Graco® wants to make sure you find the correct one that fits your child's need. There are 3 types of booster seats: 1) Harness boosters, 2) highback belt-positioning boosters and 3) backless belt-positioning booster. Nautilus 2.0 LX is a harness booster that changes from a forward-facing harness booster to highback and backless booster. Highback and Backless belt-positioning boosters are designed to boost the child’s height so the seat belt fits properly. Highback boosters also provide neck and head support. http://www.gracobaby.com/en-US/safety-information
    • WHAT IS A BACKLESS BOOSTER? There are 3 types of booster seats: 1) Harness boosters, 2) highback belt-positioning boosters and 3) backless belt-positioning booster. Nautilus 2.0 LX is a harness booster that changes from a forward-facing harness booster to highback and backless boosters. Highback and Backless belt-positioning boosters are designed to boost the child’s height so the seat belt fits properly. Highback boosters also provide neck and head support. http://www.gracobaby.com/en-US/safety-information
    • WHAT IS INRIGHT LATCH? InRight™ LATCH is Graco's one-second, push-in LATCH connector for easy installation.
    • WHY WOULD I NEED A LATCH SYSTEM OR LOWER ANCHORS ON A BELT POSITIONING BOOSTER SEAT? LATCH systems or lower anchors on Belt Positioning Boosters provide a secure connection to your vehicle, keeping the booster affixed to your vehicle seat when not in use and keeping the booster properly in place for easy self-buckling for child.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sad it doesn't work I purchased this car seat a month ago and immediately had a problem with the harness not tightening. I reached out to customer service who were slow to get back to me and made the process of getting a new model or a refund difficult, despite the fact that several people mention this problem in their review. My daughter loves this car seat except for the fact that we make her shimmy into it because if we loosen the straps it's a full on work out to get them tight again. If the tightening strap worked properly I'd think this was a great seat. I wouldn't recommend this seat unless you enjoy wresting with a car seat to feel like your child is safe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeds all expectations! The Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 car seat arrived exactly as described and exceeded my expectations! Instructions for installation were completely clear and the car seat was set to go in under 10 minutes. Love the look- the pop of color on the trim is very attractive. The storage compartments on the inside of the seat arms are easy access for the kiddos- a great place to stash toys and snacks. The seat is easy to install in the car and I have peace of mind that my littles are safely secured and protected while on the road. The quality and value of this particular seat are apparent- double thumbs up from this satisfied momma!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2nd purchase! I bought my first seat 5yrs ago for my son. It has been is favorite seat, has held up amazingly well, is solid & sturdy. So I just bought another one for my daughter who needed to upgrade. They are a heavier carseat & are not the simplest to move from car to car but that is ok for me. I prefer a solid build seat to protect my kids. This seat does not dissappoint!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome carseat I am a grandmother and have purchased 3 car seats and 2 strollers.... they are the safest and best quality on the market... the latest purchase was due to an accident that could have been so bad but no one was seriously hurt... there were 2 kids in the back in this seat.... thank you so much

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good "Final" seat I like that this convertible seat has a 5-point harness that can eventually convert to a backless booster. My little likes that there are "secret compartments" for her things. It is also easy to install in the car. I have always had Graco seats and we really like them. I have two minor complaints: 1) the adjustable head cushion does not adjust very easily and 2) the lower buckle tilts toward my child's stomach, which is uncomfortable for her. I bought two of the same seat - one for each car - and the same problem exists with both seats, suggesting it isn't specific to my item, but perhaps a design flaw. Hopefully as we use the seat and as my child grows, both concerns will fade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Cleaning and more features than most brands I have owned one Nautilus unit for over a year and it has taken considerable beat down from my toddler; I currently have an additional one in transit while writing this review. The extra "cubby" holes are perfect my toddler's rock collecting habits. She also puts any uneaten food in there (instead of somewhere else in the car) so I always know where a smell may be coming from. Safe, easy to clean, and affordable, this is my family's car seat for the foreseeable future.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Meh We have had this seat for 2 years now and while it technically does it’s job please note there is a spot in the back that hurts the child and will leave a mark on them. I’ve contacted the company about it and have gotten little to no help. We had to use a pillow from a small boppy to stick in the back of the seat. Also, converting it over to the booster is a nightmare and will cause you to just want to go buy another seat. The only frayed didn’t was because this seat is pretty expensive and was supposed to work til he was out of a car seat so I just fought with it til I got it to work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to Use. Super Comfy!! I have had 4 of these car seats. (3 kids under 4). They are amazing!! It is easy to take apart and put back together to wash. Easy to install in any vehicle. My kids love the fact there is a storage spot for all of their favorite toys. I love there’s somewhere for them to put their garbage. Our daily commute is 40 minutes each way. The kids never complain about not being comfortable. We have bought these seats staggered and have used them for the past 6 years. Each one has held up and been amazing!!
