Graco Turbobooster is a great option
I was given this booster seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it couldn't have come at a more perfect time. My eldest child (of four) is about to turn 8 and is finally outgrowing her traditional car seat so we were searching for a good booster that could grow with her to fit our needs. When the Graco turbobooster extend arrived, I was impressed with how easily it fit together. I am extremely NOT mechanically minded and even I managed to have the entire booster together in three minutes. The design is intuitive which I appreciate - the three pieces easily fit together, the headrest can be adjusted with ease, and even my two year old could easily pull the cupholders out or push them back in. Currently, we have plenty of space in our minivan to leave the cupholders out but when we go on vacation we often fit three car seats next to each other in which case we'd have no room for the cup holders. The fact that they slide in to the point that they leave no real footprint (as you can see in the photos) is a great feature. My favorite feature is how easy it is to convert the booster to a backless booster because it means one less item we'll need to purchase when our daughter eventually outgrows this seat! The booster is a classic black and gray design which matches everything and was easy to set up in our van with the use of the front-adjust LATCH system. My daughter gave it a 10/10 for comfort although she did mention that the sides felt like the could soon become a bit snug. She's on the petite side - but again is almost 8 years old - so if your child is a bit broader you may just end up needing to switch over to the backless option a bit sooner. Overall, I would definitely recommend this as a solid booster seat that is sure to meet all of your needs!

Safe and comfortable
We’ve used graco for a majority of our baby needs since our first born and are so happy to continue using them for our second when we received this booster from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
We just got another car and were looking for a booster as our girl has grown taller so this booster came at a perfect time with so much excitement. As soon as it got delivered our daughter begged for us to open it so she could try it out. It was extremely simple to put together and has a little notch underneath to keep the instructions and safety info which is neat. We popped it into our truck and the latch system makes the booster so secure which is great it was a super easy install and our daughter loves being able to strap herself in like a big girl and always like to pop out the hidden cup holders for her things. I love that it grows with her and can become a backless booster for the future and we can easily move it to another car if we need too. We love it graco! Thank you

Light weight and great features
This booster seat is very spacious as the shoulder area allows tons of room. My daughter is 7 and finds it very comfortable and with plenty of room to spare for growth. It is wider at the top so it may not fit well in a smaller vehicle if you need to do 3 across but if you have the room in your vehicle, I would recommend this one to keep your kiddo comfortable for many years! The cup holders can be in or out, which could make 3 across more possible.
My favorite feature on this seat is the front-adjust LATCH system. This allows the seat to not become a projectile in an accident. It is so easy to use. You just clip it to the lower anchors in your vehicle, and pull the straps from the front to tighten them. Being able to pull from the front is a game changer.
It is also very easy to adjust this car seat because of the adjustable headrest.
This seat is so easy to assemble and disassemble. Converting it to a backless booster is very easy as it just snaps together. I would also like to add that it is very light weight and easy to move from one vehicle to another.
Overall, I would recommend this to anyone with a booster aged kid. Thank you, Stellar Product Testing Panel for letting me review this product.

Felt Flimsy
I was so excited to receive the Graco Turbobooster extend 2 in 1 booster from the Stellar Product Testing Panel that when it arrived I opened it immediately. However, upon opening it I was extremely disappointed. The back of the seat feels like it will break just by leaning against it. I was just involved in an accident where I had all of my kids in the van. I was t-boned and was so grateful for the booster and car seats that my kiddos were buckled into. Putting this booster seat together I don’t feel like it would withstand any type of accident. When I put the booster seat in the car I was confused that there is no top tether strap. I searched everywhere and read the instructions but couldn’t find it or couldn’t find it talked about anywhere. So the back of the booster sits against the seat of the car not strapped on. The one promising thing about this booster seat has is the front latch. I really did appreciate that. So many times I’m searching around the side of a car seat trying to pull the latch strap tight and it is hard to get a good angle. With the front latch system you can easily latch and then pull the strap right in front, very helpful and honestly the only thing good about this booster seat. My 8 year old sat in the booster seat for 1 week and thought it was pretty uncomfortable. It looks sleek and I like the coloring of the fabric but ultimately I wouldn’t recommend this seat to anyone. Maybe I am being more critical because of my recent accident but it doesn’t feel sturdy and safe if I were to get in an accident.

Lightweight and Convenient
The Graco Turbobooster Extend 2-in-1 Booster Seat is the first true booster that my family has used - the other converted from rear and forward facing five point harness to booster. The Turbobooster is much more lightweight and therefore easier to move from one car to the other. It’s super easy to install, and I love that it includes LATCH connections. The adjustable headrest is easy to raise/lower and the hide-away cupholders are very convenient. I found that changing it between high-back booster and backless booster is a simple, user-friendly process. My child finds the seat quite comfortable and has no problems properly buckling in. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with the Turbobooster Extend - with two youngsters, we’ll be using this seat for years to come.

Good Affordable Option
I was given this booster seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The Graco Turbobooster Extend 2-in-1 Booster is a good option for those that are looking for a booster for an older kid that can grow with them. We installed it in my husband’s car which is an SUV with captain chairs for the second row. I tried this out for both my almost 5 year old and my 7 year old. My 7 year old is 55 lbs and 48” tall and my almost 5 year old is 40 lbs and 44” tall. The booster (with and without) the back part is for 40-100 lbs so a great long lasting option. I love getting longer use out of products so the fact it grows with the kid and you can remove the back is a huge plus.
It had a nice anchor latch system that was easy to install and secure. I was pleasantly surprised that for a booster, it had such a nice latch system. It was very easy to install and adjust the car seat. You can easily adjust the headrest and adjust arm rests for a different sized kiddo so it makes it easy switching back and forth between two kids with different weight and heights.
The fact that the 2 cup holders fold in makes it a good option if you have less space available in your vehicle (if you have 2 car seats next to each other on a bench style seating arrangement). It’s easy to pull them out and push the cup holder back in so you won’t be fighting with it.
I let my oldest sit with the back of the booster on and backless. She thought that the backless was more comfortable. We both agreed that it was spacious without being too clunky. It’s very lightweight too so if you need to move it between cars, it’s not heavy. That’s also a plus for grandparents (the fact it’s easy to install and light to carry). The fabric comes off easily when you need to wash it and put it back on. My oldest wished that the arm rests were fabric instead of plastic, but I liked that it made it easier to clean.
I think it’s a good option for every day use but it’s also a great option for grandparents to have one for grandkids since it’s so affordable, lightweight, and easy to install. Safety and brand reputation is important to me and I feel confident using this product for my kids.

Great secondary seat or travel seat
Our family has been Graco loyal customers for over 9 years. With three kids ranging in ages four to nine, we have tested and tried many different Graco products and car seats. We received the Graco Turbobooster Extend 2 in 1 Booster through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This seat would be a great seat for a grandparent car or to use while traveling. It is extremely lightweight, and install is a breeze. The cupholders can be pulled out to use or collapsed into the seat. My son really likes being able to hold some of his smaller toys in the cupholder and pushing it in so they don't fall out when getting in and out of the car. The front-adjust LATCH system is handy in making sure the seat does not slide around in the car when getting in and out. Converting the height of the booster is as simple as pushing a button and pulling or pushing the back down. Converting to a backless booster is 2 simple steps and easy to do.
However, this seat is far narrower than our other Graco boosters. My son did say that he can feel the back of the seat moving and jiggling while riding, and he cannot feel that in his other Graco booster seat. It is also much narrower around his shoulders than other seats. When the high back is on, it does not have as tight of a fit as our other high-back boosters. Overall, it is a great secondary seat, but would not be my first choice for our everyday seat.

You cannot go wrong with a Graco
I received a Graco Turbobooster to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
I’ve got 4 kids 6 and under so this thing will get some seat time. My oldest is VERY outspoken and opinionated. She has no complaints about the comfort of this seat while using it as a high back booster. It holds the belt in the proper position across her chest.
For set up out of the box, you just have to clip the backrest onto the bottom. It only takes 30 seconds. Install is simple on these boosters as well. You just toss it in the car and loop the seat belt through the backrest clip. It’s very easy to move from car to car, if that is needed.
I LOVE the feature to hook the seat to the latch connectors. This holds the seat in place while not in use. On my other Graco (without this feature) you’re supposed to clip the seat belt in while it’s not in use but that never happens. So, the seat just flops around in the back. This one doesn’t budge.
I would recommend this product to someone looking for a safe and affordable booster.
