What is this announcement?
We have voluntarily announced a recall to inform consumers of a potential fall hazard for all Harmony High Chairs manufactured by Graco. The Harmony High Chair is the only high chair affected by this notice.
Although this is deemed a recall in the US, there is no need to return your product. Graco is providing a free repair kit upon request. To order a repair kit in the US, click here. If you live outside of the US, please visit our international contact page to find the proper contact information.
Are products sold outside of the United States affected by this action?
The Harmony High Chair has been sold in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Philippines.
We are offering repair kits to all consumers who own the Harmony High Chair worldwide.
What is the safety concern?
It has been determined that the screws holding the front legs of the high chair can loosen and fall out and/or the plastic bracket on the rear legs can crack causing the high chair to become unstable and tip over unexpectedly. This poses a fall hazard to children.
We take great pride in the quality and safety of our products, and as such, we are disappointed with the performance of the Harmony High Chair. We have taken significant steps to assess and enhance our internal product design review processes and we are continually committed to ensuring product safety.
In the case of Harmony, we have worked closely with the CPSC to identify and provide an appropriate fix. We are confident that we have come up with a solution that will improve the performance of this chair.
Graco is in full compliance with reporting this issue.

What do I do if I have one of these high chairs?
If you own a Harmony High Chair, you do not need to send back your product. Graco will provide free repair kit upon request.
In the meantime, we’re advising consumers to stop using their high chairs, and to contact Graco to order the kit.

Do I need to return my high chair to the store or to Graco?
No, you do not need to return your Harmony High Chair. You can request the repair kit by filling out an online form here. The repair kit can be easily affixed, and instructions can be found here.
What will I receive when I order the kit?
You will receive two new screws to replace the screws in the front legs of the highchair and a fabric leg brace with four safety buckles that attach to the base of all four legs of the high chair.
Is it safe to use my high chair while I wait for the repair to arrive?
Until your repair kit arrives and you have fitted it to your high chair, Graco recommends that you stop using the Harmony High Chair. Your repair kit should arrive in about 10 – 15 business days.
What colors are available?
The kit is available in tan.
Does this repair kit fit other similar high chairs made by Graco or a different manufacturer?
This repair kit is designed to ONLY fit the Harmony High Chair. The repair kit is not available to owners of other high chairs or other Graco high chair models.
What information do I need when I order my repair kit?
Please be prepared with your model number and manufacture date/serial number, which can be found on a sticker located on a white label on the underside of the child’s footrest.
Where was the Harmony High Chair sold?
The Harmony High Chair cited in this alert was sold in the US at AAFES, Burlington Coat Factory, Babies “R” Us, Toys “R” Us, Sears, Target, Target.com, Walmart, WalMart.com, Shopko, USA Baby, and other retailers nationwide for between $70 and $120.
When was the Harmony High Chair sold?
The Harmony High Chair was sold from December 2003 through March 2010.
Does this announcement affect products that are currently in stores?
No, Graco has stopped selling the Harmony High Chair.
